Last weekend, we started the drum tracking for new Studio 2.0 artist Detch Jennings. Check the post below for more info on him!

We started with the track “Calling On Hope” and moved onto “Mother Dearest”. After a couple hours we finished the session with the tracks “Just Words and Music” and “Wake Up”.

Detch Jennings’ roots are mostly in metal, but fans of acoustic rock are going to have to check this one out. We’re talking Bad Religion and Rise Against style harmonies, hooky rhythms and catchy melodies. We’ve got the ball rolling with Detch Jennings, and we sure as hell can’t wait to see where it rolls.

We hired Justin Forfar of local punk band 48 Caliber to hammer off the drum tracks, and as always, he nailed each and every song.

Check out the images from the session below! You’ll also see a couple members of our established audio engineering interns and Studio Manifesto authors Connor and Andy.
