Hello interweb friends! Shawn 3 here (newest video intern and the third Shawn here at Euphonic) keeping you up to date on the latest happenings from Euphonic Sound and the Milky Way. Since I have no galactic news to report today I will focus on Euphonic Sound instead. Emma (aka boss lady) has left with Euphonic Sound producer Shawn Daley and design companero Ruby, to do a photo shoot in the park with Studio 2.0 artist TroNic,

leaving Sean Sirianni and myself alone at the studio. For those of you that don’t know us well enough, this means Mastodon and Volbeat cranked on the stereo while we slay work.

Today has been super productive already; we shot a video interview with producers Shawn and James for indie website Tunesinto.com. We put their minds to the test with questions about childhood musical influences, the history of Euphonic Sound and Studio 2.0, and everything else the Tunesinto audience should know about this great community.

Following the interview, we took James and Shawn outside to film a promo for the upcoming “United in Flow: Celebrating the World of Hip Hop” mixtape / live event.

We took many cuts while exploring the surrounding area for those oh so trendy urban graffiti backdrop shots. More details on United In Flow are on the way! In the meantime, check out the Euphonic Sound Community for a bit more information.

We even discovered a wanna-be bat mobile. Good day? I think so!

Considering how well producers James and Shawn conducted themselves in the interview, you would think they would be pros with a script. It turns out when trying to remember lines, they have the memory of a hermit crab. After finally nailing their lines, we headed back to the studio with some great shots waiting to be cut together. I’m going to be working on that over the next couple days while Sean 2 edits our Tunesinto interview.

If that wasn’t enough video awesomeness for one day my two video amigos and Mr. Daley just went back to the park to do a video shoot with Studio 2.0 artist Detch Jennings

It was a great and busy day for the video crew at Euphonic Sound and there is still so much more coming up in the next week. From getting our upcoming “The Studio” mini series off the ground to shooting some funny viral commercials for Studio 2.0 we have a bunch of projects ahead. Who knew work could be so fun?

Now that you’re done reading this fantastic blog post, check out www.Tunesinto.com for even more indie music information happening around Toronto, and check back for the interview with James Pew and Shawn Daley to be up in a few days.
