I’m glad you have been reading this blog, because I won’t have to explain to you what Unity Charity is, or what our affiliation is with them, because you already know….right? Well for those of you who arn’t so much in the know, the good people here at Euphonic Sound are organizing a Hip Hop event called United In Flow with all proceeds going to the aforementioned charity.

So let me just jump right in and tell you about our session today. We had another lovely visit from our favorite b-boy and yours, Mike Prosserman. This time, he brought with him another teenage friend…Roshawn Balgrove, a.k.a “RTB The Writer“. This kid is a threat ladies and gents. Not only is his flow cool, smooth, laid back…the boy has pipes. I’m talking lady killing, crooner, Chris Brown type vocals- minus the Chris Brown attitude that’s for sure, this kid was humble, polite, with a fantastic attitude.

It was Roshawn’s first time in the studio, but it sure didn’t seem like it-beyond his curiosity about everything. Shawn Daley taught him a bit about mic placement, and sound. Roshawn seemed happy with how “proper” the song turned out. We’re happy about it too- it defiantly does not sound like the work of a teen- and if he sticks with it, I predict big things for this dude.
